Our last days before Raelinn

Of course I procrastinated everything until the last moment. We sheet rocked and painted her room the two weeks before she came and put together her pack and play only a few days before we left to have her. The day before is when I finally decided to clean, do laundry, and organize her bedroom. I started early that morning and found a HUGE house centipede in our laundry room. I had the heebie jeebies until about noon that afternoon! Jessica Maley came over and helped SO much. She boiled the bottles and pacifiers, organized her clothes and stayed until 11:30 that night helping with so many other things! As I took a shower that night, I was thinking how this would be my last shower in my house where I wasn't listening for a baby or rushing because a toddler is banging on the door. It was a bitter sweet moment....but I came to the conclusion that I really was ready to be a mom. We were ready to be parents. I soaked up those last few days. Took every opportunity I had to sleep in because I knew those days would be over. I spent lots of carefree hours at my moms with my dogs :) sewed a quilt for the baby and started another one (hopefully I find time to finish it now that she's here!) I keep asking myself how a baby fit in my stomach, then I look at my 39 week belly picture and it all makes sense! Haha

We are getting more and more ready for baby!! I got so many wonderful things at my baby shower and gifts from people who weren't able to make it. Tj's family had a baby shower down in Mississippi for me and they sent us a big box of clothes!! So many cute outfits! We have finished putting sheet rock up in the babies room and it's now turning into a cute little nursery. TJ has worked so hard !! He has been working a crazy schedule of night shifts and still finds time to go in there and fix it up. :) he is the best. Our days as just the two of us our dwindling fast....I can't help to be a little sad, but I know that when Raelinn is here we will feel more complete than we ever have! 12 days and counting....unless she comes on her own!

Babies everywhere!

Miss MayBelle our milk cow finally had her baby :) little Annabelle came Friday march 1st. We hung out there all day long just watching her labor. Later that afternoon we started seeing little hoofs poke out! TJ helped pull Annabelle out, and everything went so smoothly. She is the sweetest little brown calf and we all just love her!! What a fun experience!! MayBelle was in so much pain though....not sure if that was a good idea to watch just a few weeks before I have to do the same thing! Haha

It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to....

Seriously over being pregnant. And I still have over 4 weeks to go. I have been putting body butter on since the beginning....guess what I have?? Stretch marks!! Just a couple small ones at the bottom of my stomach, but I'm sure in this month they are going to get worse. Uh!!! Oh and my crotch. It hurts. So bad! Just walking, sitting down, standing up, rolling over in bed...ya know, all the things you have to do on a daily basis! My bones just feel bruised! The last few weeks I have been so sensitive and emotional it's ridiculous. Oh and if the baby came right now she would have a few boxes of size 3 and 4 diapers, a pair of cowgirl boots, two 3-6 month sleepers and a blanket. Yep I'm really prepared! Honestly never pictured being such a procrastinator when it came to baby shopping, especially for a girl!! I haven't even made her cute headbands. Let me rephrase that, I haven't even figured out how to make her cute headbands. I seriously fail at this pregnancy thing!! On a positive note, I have 4 weeks to get everything done! Haha....I better find some energy to get crafty and some money to start shopping! I know this will all be worth it in the end. I'm looking forward to that day!
P.S. She finally got the hiccups the other day!! 34 weeks along and I finally felt them! Then once more last night and TJ got to feel too! She has squirmed both times almost like she hates them. Silly baby.

Life!

We are absolutely loving life. Our little house is coming together and feeling more like a home. It's amazing what blessings our Heavenly Father has given us! I seriously fall more in love with TJ every single day. He is SO easy going (thankfully because I think I'm pretty bossy being pregnant) In less than 5 weeks we are going to have a baby! I am scared to death, but when I remember I have TJ by my side I know we will be just fine. These next 5 weeks I am trying to soak up every memory of just him and I. :) our dogs are maniacs! Little Saydee has become part of our home...and she is so feisty! TJ will be receiving the Melchizedek priesthood after church tomorrow! He is my hero :) now he will be able to bless the baby in church, and we are one step closer to being sealed in the temple. .) life sure is amazing.

"valentimes" day

TJ and I met on the 17th of February last year, so this was our first V-Day together. First things first, I found out down south they say valentimes day rather than valentines day lol!!! At least my husband does..... We didn't do flowers, candy, and all the other mushy gushy stuff that goes along with the holiday. We drove to Vegas for an OB appointment and had a 3D ultrasound of baby Raelinn! We got there and had lunch with Tawni Sue and the boys then did a little shopping. My daily tip for pregnancy was to get a pedicure so we got one before the OB appointment. Baby's heart sounded wonderful and Dr. Martin said next appointment (36) weeks we are going to set up my induction date!!! We are seriously having a baby....very soon! At the 3D ultrasound we figured out 3 things. #1 Raelinn has already dropped and literally has her face smashed against my pelvic bone, which explains why I have sharp pains and feelings like my bones are going to crumble!! Her little face was so smashed we couldn't get any good pictures of her....and boy was she stubborn, she wouldn't move an inch for us to get a picture! She said she isn't supposed to be that low yet...hopefully she doesn't think she needs to come early! #2 her foot is literally up in my ribs. Literally. #3 she has hair. And a lot of it!!! :) this will be fun! We bought the cutest wipe cases, one for each of us! Picked up new couches and literally blew every cent in our account....which we are still trying to recover from! I was complaining and mad about blowing the money and TJ said "the deed is done....and we had fun, there's nothing we can do about it so stop worrying" I just love his positive attitude and the way we balance each other out. I am so crazy in love with him and glad we found each other :) This ValentiMes day was absolutely the best!! Ever.

We have been soooo busy lately!! We moved to a new house! We are eventually going to buy it and raise our kids in it! It's the cutest little brick home, so cozy and warm. Exactly what we wanted. I am coming up on being 33 weeks pregnant. We can't believe how fast it's going by!! When Raelinn moves you can see my whole stomach move with her- it's so weird! We have an OB appointment on Valentines day, then scheduled a 3D ultrasound for that evening. What a perfect way to spend the day! :) Work is busy...life is busy...but we are still cherishing every moment! Especially these last few weeks we have together before the baby arrives!
