The farm is growing and growing.....and growing......

Here's an update of the Otteson/Blackburn/Ladner farm!

We got a milk cow; her name is Maybell. She is pregnant with a calf and will have it in february. They have to go out and milk her twice a day and get around 5 gallons a day! We have made butter, ice cream and soup from her! She is such a sweet cow.

Mom and dad bought this horse. He is wild and needs trained (which Tj will do) He's starting to calm down and loves Jason! haha We named him Sunny, just like dads other buckskin horse he had years ago.
This is Oscar the baby llama!
Him and I are best friends :) He is so sweet!
Tj's new horse Scarlett. Boy oh boy is she a moody horse!! I don't think anybody but Tj could ride her!
 Tj roping off of Scar
We got rid of Harper and Harriet because they weren't very friendly and got two baby goats. We play with them all the time, so they are super friendly! When they were little they used to try and nurse off of your shirt, or chin, or fingers. It was so cute! Now they enjoy running and jumping and climbing!
Daddy and I down on the farm!
 Tj and a chicken!
Jaceton and both the baby goats
This is my parents new horse Star! She is very friendly and is good for the kids. Here is Lane on her!
Trent's horse Spirit passed away :( So Kami gave him her horse Chick! She is such a pretty horse! Here is Elder Sohkanen (one of the Elder's that taught Tj) on her. He had never rode a horse before!
Everybody loves going and hanging out with all the animals. It's so fun!

Murder Mystery

Tonopah doesn't have a whole lot of things to do....so when something comes up, of course we jump right on it! The mizpah had a 1970's themed murder mystery. It was lots of fun!

M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I

The day after we got there Tj's family had a reception for us. I got to meet most of his family there, we had so much fun!

I crossed FOUR states off of my bucket list!!

Louisiana

Georgia

Alabama

And Minnesota!

We had such an amazing time with family and did so many fun things!! We went to a gator farm...

We went with Tommy, Brittany and Jadyn to the farm. It was so neat! We rode on an airboat and saw a couple gators! :)

The next morning Tj and I went to New Orleans!! He woke me up SOOOO early so that we could get to Cafe Du Monde really early and get fresh beignet's (like a french doughnut) They were so nummy! We crossed over to Bourbon street and then headed to the aquarium and zoo.

 Cafe Du Monde!

 Bourbon Street

Of course I HAD to buy beads :)
There were beads hanging everywhere!
The Audubon Aquarium was so neat and a nice break out of the heat of New Orleans

Tj has to pick everybody's nose... haha

At the aquarium the camera started to die...and it was totally Tj's fault we left the charger in Nevada! No, really it was. So the rest of the pictures from our trip I had to take with my cell phone. Bare with me.

My sandals were giving me blisters...so we went into the gift shop to grab some new shoes for me...these bad boys are what we ended up with! They were sooo soft and fluffy :) a few people stopped and told me "those look comfortable!" and yes, they were!

Totally peeing in the fountain ;)
haha I just love our silly marriage!
We had so much fun at the zoo!

We spent the fourth of July at Ronnie and Tab's house! They cooked some amazing food!

 Happy Fourth!
Ronnie cooked Alligator! It surprisingly was pretty good!

Tj and I went down one afternoon and spent a few hours at the beach. The water was all muddy, but as warm as a bath! We had so much fun laughing and swimming in the water!

What a fabulous trip we had. Tj's family was so sweet and welcoming to me, I felt like part of the family right off the bat! We cannot wait to go back and visit everybody again. I'll leave you with a few of my favorite pics from the trip (as if I haven't posted enough!)
