....Sign on the line please!

So yesterday, Tj and I went and got a PO box together and GOT OUR MARRIAGE LICENSE!!! Oh my lanta it's getting to feel REAL!! At the clerks office, we told her all the info (we had to tell her how many times we had been married before.....I stared at Tj and said "now the truth comes out!!!" haha he said no, thank goodness!) So anyways, told her all the important info then BOOM it was time to sign on the lines which had "Groom and Bride underneath" We looked at each other....and then most definitely signed. :) Yay!!!!!

a little bit bipolar....?

AFTER  the date had been set, venue booked, and the planning had started I was sooooo over planning a big wedding. The cost, the small details, the opionions of other people and how they thought I should plan MY wedding was getting so overwhelming. "Do finger foods" "Do a big dinner" "You can't do that it's informal" "Why do it that way it will cost more money" Blah Blah Blah!!!! One night I had had it!! When Tj came home from work I told him we should just run away to Hawaii and have a destination wedding just the two of us! Well my mom wasn't too fond of that, so we came up with the idea to do a small wedding in Vegas in my sisters back yard. The next day Sonya and I figured it would be way to HOT to do it on our original date so we went from this:

Engagement pictures

I (a typical girl) have always been soooo excited to plan my own wedding.....but I'll be the first to tell you it's a lot more work than you think!! Engagement pictures were one of the easiest and funnest parts (so far!) they were so much fun to take and of course our photographer did an AMAZING job!! Here's just a few!

Tj popped the question!

Tj and I headed down to Vegas to visit my sisters and do a little shopping. First stop was the mall, and the first store I drug him into was Kay Jewelers. I told him I just wanted to look real quick and then we'd leave....but then I saw THE ring!!
Yeah, that one! I absolutely fell in love and of course had to try it on!! Within a matter of 30 seconds I decided I couldn't live without it and we HAD to buy it then. Tj told me we weren't taking it home, it was getting sent off to get sized and what not and he would pick it up another time. Sad, but still excited, I ran off to call my mom and tell her we had atleast bought a ring (this meant we were getting closer to being engaged which I could not wait for!) In the mean time, Tj called my dad and asked permission to marry me (what a southern gentlemen) and called and talked to most of his family! He put the ring in his pocket (without me knowing) and we headed to the strip to ride the New York New York roller coaster. Tj was all sorts of jittery and I had no idea why...just figured it was from staying out all night at karaoke for his B-day, then waking up for work, THEN him driving while I slept all the way to Vegas :) haha (his idea! I would have drove!!) Anyways, once we got to the strip we stopped at fatburger (I think) and got yummy burgers! Tj hardly ate any....because he was so nervous. (awwww) As we walked out towards the strip  they started shutting the lights and signs down ( it was Earth day, his first time to Vegas, on the strip and it was Earth day!!) haha! So as we start heading towards the New York New York he spots the Monte Carlo
He drags me over there and as we walk up behind the beautiful collumns and into this patio/garden area (we were surprisingly alone!) I turn around and he is down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!! My eyes teared up and the first thing out of my mouth was "You had the ring?!?!?!?!?!!!" He put it on my finger and we were officially engaged :o) It was such an amazing feeling!! Just a minute later this guy walks up and said to Tj "Did you just do what I think you did?!" We told him yes and he snapped a picture for us
Right after that we headed straight to the roller coaster!!
I recommend for anybody who gets engaged to go ride a roller coaster right after!! haha! That was such a special night for us and I will NEVER forget it! The amount of butterflies in my stomach were outrageous and I STILL can't wrap my head around the fact that I am engaged to the most wonderful, sweet, caring, and handsome (super handsome!!) man! :') The love we have for each other is indescriable and most of all, indestructable!!!
"No measure of time with you will be long enough...but lets start with forever!" <3 <3

Tj turned 24!!

Mom and I made a homemade carrot cake for Tj's birthday. (I'll get used to this whole cooking thing one day....but as for right now I need supervising!)

The puppies and I all signed his birthday card :D

...and of course he got his first Seahawks shirt :) He looks so thrilled...haha!

The process of falling in love.....

After that first night Tj was the only thing I thought about! I had told my mom all I wanted was a southern boy, and low and behold I found one....in Tonopah, NV.....at karaoke! We texted constantly and spent every evening together watching movies and getting to know each other. (Of course Khloee came along with us everywhere!) Within a week we were an "official couple" and our adventures began!
Our first trip out to the ranch to visit Grandpa Lynn and Aunt Dixie. Tj was so excited to meet "a real cowboy" and listen to all of Grandpa's stories! That trip he met Uncle Dean and Aunt Donna also. He talked race horses with everybody and that very day I realized he was going to fit into our family better than I do! :)

One day TJ and dad went mining and Jess, Jason, Dacoda, Jeremy, mom and I all headed to Bishop, CA to watch The Hunger Games. Mom and I went into the pet store and I saw Tank and Dozer...fell in love and brought them home. Thank goodness Tj's Birthday was right around the corner so I used that as an excuse for the two new puppies! :) This picture was taken right when we got home and I introduced Tj and Khlo to their new family members! A crazy adventure was up ahead of us that's for sure.  After the newness had set in and the dreaded potty training had started I constantly said (and still say) "why did you buy these puppies babe??!?!" Better to put the blame on him than take it all myself ;)

The beginning!

Tj and I are so excited to start this new chapter in our life!! But lets start back from the beginning...
Feb. 17, 2012
AKA the first night we met!

I love this picture! We had known each other for maybe an hour and I swear we were already in love! I teased him about looking like a thug in his bandana! :) Little did I know I would fall completely head over heels for him and shortly after get engaged! I was at a point in my life where I was done with relationships and Tj said " I was planning on moving to Nev"ah"da (I have to constantly correct him it's nevADa!) buying a street bike, tattooing my arms, and driving up and down the west coast....then I met you!"  That first night was something like "love at first sight" and the rest is history...... (:
