This weekend has been nothing short of amazing. What did we do?? Absolutely nothing. Spending time together is my most favorite thing in the world!! We sat on the couch Friday and Saturday, watching tv, taking naps, laughing, and playing with all the puppies!! We had a talk and officially decided we are each others best friend :) Saturday night we stayed the night at my parents house. Watched football together Sunday morning (what a nail biter of a game!!) played a game of Yahtzee with dad and Jaceton (I got a Yahtzee AND beat everybody!) and did a lot of laughing! I am so blessed with a wonderful husband (who is having a nurf gun war with Jaceton as I type this) wonderful parents and amazing little brothers!! :) :) check out these fun pictures of Winnie after TJ dressed her up!! Hahaha then of course a million pictures of puppies and Tj's idea of how Khloee and Tank should wear their collars :P

A healthy baby is in store!

Yesterday Jaceton and I went to Vegas for my ultrasound and OB appointment. I was a little nervous considering the dr was concerned at my 22 week ultrasound because baby was pretty small. The ultrasound tech confirmed there is nothing wrong with her, she is just going to be a 6-7lb baby. Raelinn was head down and curled up with her knees to her chest sleeping. As we poked her she started waking up and opened her eyes at us! What a sweet little baby. Also, she's getting some chub on her cheeks! Way cute. It's still crazy to me that she is inside of me! This little 2lb 11oz baby is living inside my body. The thought of labor and delivery scares the heck out of me...the thought of being a mother scares me even more! I know when she gets here everything will be just fine though. After my appointment Jaceton and I went and ate at Olive Garden and did some shopping before heading home. He pushed the cart in every store and was such a big help! One time I looked down and he wasn't walking with me, I panicked and turned around frantically looking for him and he was politely holding the door for a family walking out of a store. What a sweet boy he is :) At my appointment Dr. Martin told us how much he loves our mom and that Jaceton better always be nice to her, even when he's a teenager, but I know we won't have any trouble with him!

Procrastinate much??

Ok so here it is 9....I work at ten and I'm still laying in bed. I sure do miss Mr. Ladner :( (who finally had to go back to work after his two weeks off) I was feeling pretty lonely so all five puppies, Tank and Khloee are laying in bed with me. I should be folding laundry....I should be getting ready for work....but here I lay. These puppies are growing so fast! Plus...the laundry can wait :) its not going anywhere.

On the sabbath day....

At about 8:30 TJ started telling me to get ready for church....but I didn't want to! I wanted to sit by him on the couch. :) then I got hungry so I started baking a pizza...by this time it was nine thirty. I went to the bathroom, turned some church music on and started getting ready (while eating pizza) time got away from me and it was 10:00 ooops time to get dressed! It was snowing and I couldn't find my thick leggings I wanted to wear with my dress....TJ was so irritated and said numerous times "I hate being late to church! We might as well not even go!..." (something to that affect) at about 10:15 I was finally ready and we loaded in the car and headed to church. We had missed the sacrament, but hey, at least we were there! The spirit was strong as it was Testimony meeting. I felt the spirit pretty strong and felt I should get up....but of course kept talking myself out of it. Then here comes Jess and her kids (later than we were!) she had a scowl on her face as did each kid....except for Kasen who somehow got out of the house wearing his new stompies!! Lol he looked so cute in his Sunday outfit, then had these big blue and white puppy slippers on. Bahaha I of course had to take a picture :) finally I told AshLynne I'd take her up to bare her testimony, and I bore mine after her. Of course babbled on and cried the whole time, but at least I did it. Jess got up after me and we tried to talk TJ into it, but he wouldn't (more on that later!) In relief society there were a total of 7 people attending. I happened to be the only one below the age of thirty five....haha I really do enjoy being surrounded by women who have lived more life than I have. They have so much wisdom and knowledge and rather than sulking and wishing I was in a bigger ward, I try and soak every ounce of it in!! After church my sweetie and I came home to change and pick up the dogs to take to mom and dads house. TJ complains because he always has to carry the big box we keep the puppies in, but I know deep down inside he really doesn't mind :) we watched football with my daddy (GO SEAHAWKS!) and played with the puppies. They are walking now and starting to get little personalities. I want to keep them all!!! :) :) but I know that's not a very good idea.... It was such a wonderful day...my husband told me I looked beautiful 4 times throughout the day :) then reminded me one more time as we were falling asleep. He of course is the most handsome boy I've ever met and I couldn't stop telling him....or taking pictures of him. Haha he's such a good sport about it! That night laying in bed he told me "I would like to get up and bare my testimony, but everybody who gets up there cries.....and I don't want to cry in front of everybody!" lol!!!! I LOVE HIM!!! He truly is a perfect match for me and I cannot wait until we are sealed in the temple for all time and eternity :) (sometime in May or June!) hopefully

This past Thursday I had a Dr. Appointment for baby Raelinn. I was 27 weeks to the day and had to do my glucose test. I was seriously freaking out about drinking that darn thing!! TJ and I were in petsmart when I had to down the drink in five minutes. I made him try a sip first, just to make sure it wasn't going to kill me, then stood by the water fountain and chugged it! It wasn't awful, but definitely not yummy. The appointment went good. I passed the glucose test and my urine was good (no bladder or kidney infections!) yeah! Raelinn had a strong heartbeat, but because she was measuring a bit small at my 22wk appointment Dr. Martin wants to see me again in two weeks for another ultrasound to make sure baby is growing and looking ok. Scary stuff, but he told me not to worry, so I'm trying not to! She sure does move a lot, so that eases my mind a bit. I am excited to see her and have a prayer in my heart along with crossing my fingers and toes she is growing properly :)

Just another Saturday...

Today is Saturday January 4th, 2013.
I went to bed last night planning on waking up and cleaning my whole house! From top to bottom.
I woke up feeling exhausted. Wandered out to the living room where I found my cute husband sitting on the couch watching tv. We had cereal for breakfast and watched tv. I then began reading nieniedialogues.blogspot.com.....and could not stop. I just finished her book (read it in a day and a half!) what a remarkable woman she is. Such an awesome wife and mother....even after the plane crash and burning 83% of her body!! So, as I sat here idolizing this woman and her life I've realized it was about noon and I hadn't moved from the couch. I decided to get up and make lunch. French dip sandwiches! Then make a chocolate cake. Well TJ had been marinating this disgusting looking piece of meat in our only cake pan. So, after eating lunch and moaning and groaning about the dirty cake pan he created, I decided to just get up and wash it! While the cake was baking I figured it'd be a good idea to do the dishes that had been piling up....after washing and complaining some more (isn't TJ a trooper for staying married to me?!?!!) I pulled the cake out of the oven. Oh and did I mention that was the first time I've ever used my hand me down blender?? It's an old school kind where you put the beater sticks in, but I am very grateful we have it! (even though I couldn't figure out how to get the sticks in properly and it made a funky noise and shot cake batter all over my shirt) ok after sitting on the couch reading more of Nie's blog and checking Facebook, I figured the store bought cake had cooled enough to frost. Well...it wasn't. It literally fell apart when I tried! I served us some globs of it and we ate two servings each! After nagging at my poor husband for being messy (when I'm equally just as bad) I fell asleep watching Harry Potter that I just HAD to watch even though he didn't want to. After a delightful nap on the couch I woke up in a much better mood :) he told me the cake made him so sick and he'd been in the bathroom for a while....ooops! After more reading and facebooking TJ finished cooking that yucky looking piece of meat and let me tell you it was amazing!!!! He grilled it on this contraption he made at work. Oh. My. Goodness. Yum. I of course had to appologize for being such a nag all the time and he told me he still loves me :) then I sat on Facebook more and read more Nie. Looking at pictures she's posted wearing compression gloves for her burns and sores on her legs, while she's making dinner or tending the kids it made me realize what a lazy bum I was! So I started a load of laundry and left the rest in the hallway so I HAVE to finish it before bed or the dogs will steal my undies and drag them out the doggie door tonight (this has happened numerous times by the way) Moral of the story, I am a lazy procrastinator. But here I sit (with the washer going!) next to my handsome husband, who adores me. This has been a lovely Saturday. I'm so grateful for everything in my life, and glad I get to share it with TJ who puts up with everything I do and honestly never (NEVER!) complains! :) life is good. And one day I will figure out how to be a good wife who has the house cleaned and can bake and frost a cake. One day.
