Ladner Update

Christmas was amazing. New Years too. We left the baby with my sister and stayed out until about one. It was nice having time to just be tj and I once again, I'm really learning to enjoy and appreciate having "us" time. Without Rae. That doesn't mean we don't SERIOUSLY MISS HER though! She popped two more top teeth in and on the 2nd we took her over for her 9 month check up (sad face) and realized she is pushing her third too tooth through!!! 3 teeth in a matter of a week, poor baby! She will now have her cute bottom teeth (2) and 4 on top!!!! She weighed 16lbs 7oz and 26 1/2 inches long! She is getting so big!! On Saturday the 4th she pulled herself up to a toy and stood on her own!! Luckily we were both right there and got to see it and take pictures. She is such a fast army crawler and gets wherever she is wanting to go, but this last week she has started crawling on her knees some too!!! We finally finished her nursery. (We hadn't even bought her a crib yet!!) procrastinating to extreme right there I tell ya. Thank goodness Santa brought one and one night tj and I hand painted a beautiful tree on the wall and put her crib together! She is now on night 3 and we are loving it. She looks so cute laying there. Every time we go in to get her after a nap she will be standing up holding the side and giggle and giggle when we walk  into the room!! It's the most adorable thing ever. It's amazing how fast time is flying by!! Tj and I are coming up on two years of meeting (which we were basically together from that night on). It seems so long ago, yet doesn't feel like two years should have already flown by! He is the most amazing person. His patience, kindness, and love towards Raelinn and I is so indescribable. He is such a wonderful husband and I am so grateful I have him on this journey through life as a spouse. That man can still give me butterflies!!!!

        We love to put Rae to bed and spend time together! Seriously, he is my best friend!!!!!

          Rae's first time seeing bubbles!!! Lane and Tristan had fun with her at Acacia and Justin's wedding. Also, her first New Year's Eve!!!!

         We went and ate dinner with Grandpa Lynn and Aunt Dixie after the wedding. I love him so much.

January and February

I'm going to squeeze January and February into a pictures and a few words. That is how busy my life has been lately. Which I totally hate. Crazy days fly by....Rae is 10+ months old right now. Do you know how badly I wish I could slow time down?! Make my days a little less hectic so that I can soak every baby-ounce of her up?!! I look back and think "How did this happen?!!! How is my baby almost a year old?!!" I'm starting to plan her birthday, and it's KILLING me. Honestly though, as I've finally had to come to terms with myself getting older, having Rae turn one is really such a wonderful blessing.  We are not promised tomorrow. We are not promised anything in life, but we have moments that will be cherished forever. Seeing her grow these 10 1/2 months, and capturing these special memories in pictures is such a gift! Now, I'm done rambling, enjoy looking into the past few months of our lives.

             She was stuck like this for a few minutes. I laughed and laughed!! After a few minutes she realized she could sit down. Haha

         Rae wasn't feeling good, so mommy drove her to Bishop just to be sure!! Healthy baby, 16lbs 11oz

          Tj finally decided to put our wood stove in.....that we bought over the summer, and it is now February! Can you say procrastinator?? The Christmas lights prove that word to be a perfect description. 

           Rae comes to dance class with me every week! Jessica Maley gave her a sucker!

Valentines day! We drove to Reno with my friend Justin had sushi and did a little shopping. Love Is All You Need

   Feb 24th Rae started pushing her toy around....soon after she was walking along the furniture. 

Raelinn had her first haircut!

So we were sitting on the couch. We had just finished dinner and Rae's face was a complete mess with sweet potato's allll over her! (I have been making her food from scratch rather than buying it, and it's so awesome!)  Anyways, she rubbed most of her newborn hair out on the back and the sides but not on the top! As her hair started filling in and growing longer that hair on the top kept growing and growing. Soon it was past her eyes. It drove her crazy, I could tell, and it drove me even crazier. I was constantly trying to push her bangs to the side to keep them out of her little face! After dinner that night, December 4th, I had had enough! So I grabbed the camera and the big kitchen scissors (why I didn't just run to the salon and grab my shears is beyond me!) haha So I cut that little lock of hair right there on the couch in our living room! What a difference it made. She looks like such a grown up baby now.
